Similar to other posters, I purchased my KONNWEI KW310 OBD2 Scanner as a result of my Check Engine Light. I went to a auto retail store to have the code provided and mine was a P0442 - ""Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (Small Leak)."" I was informed this was common when it comes to the gas cap not being sealed properly. The auto retailer cleared the code and I went on my way.

So I bought this because my new (used) truck kept running check engine lights every time I would reset it. Got tired of going to the auto part store and this does exactly what it needs to do. I've found what all I need to fix and now I have friends who want to use it as well. So it was a well priced and right buy for me. Accurate too, the same codes ran just like the auto parts store. Im really happy to have it, and at such a great price. I feel like it's a must have for a woman, who, isn't clueless about car and engine malfunctioning. I bought this code reader specifically for my Mercury Grand Marquis limited edition 2005, , to help diagnos some issues that I thought were going on, and to differentiate between the battery and the altinator, I didn't want to just replace both of them when I was getting faulty lights coming on. Now I feel more confident about the vehicle im driving. And I feel like I won't be taken to the cleaners on any further diagnosis of my vehicle, or have to pay for anything unnecessary I definitely feel its a tool that nobody should be without, and at a great price.

My 12 yr old ran the diagnostics on my 1 Tahoe, its that easy. Information that is needed to diagnose my fuel injected 350 was 100 % complete, about the only thing missing was a mechanic. miss fire in cylinder 5, then multiple cylinder misfires, one side of engine had carbon fouled plugs. using the obd2 explained that my problem was the number 5 cylinder misfire was causing all my problems, changed wire an plug left only the spider injector as the cause, which was the electrical plug had a pin bent over on number 5 injector. best thing I didnt have to throw money an time fixing good parts. Chance favors the prepared mind, this scanner eliminates chance.

i got a previous obd2 reader, the old one i got only provided the code, and you have to search the code for what it mean, and the old one screen very blur. this one i got is a great easy to use unit. provide all detail telling what’s wrong with my car. and clear the engine light. very easy to use with instructions.

I ordered this because my engine light was on and I wanted to see if I can understand and read the codes myself. Unfortunately when I plugged it in the morning I just had one code that did not concern me. But later on my car started to vibrate so much I had to stop and check and it was at least a couple spark plugs misfiring. Helpful Report abuse

I was a bit worried I had a much more expensive scanner but I loaned it to someone and never got it back. I had to get to the mechanic as my inspection was 4 months overdue and didn't want to get ripped off (Again). This was the right price to not care and with Prime shipping. Item came when it was supposed to and worked, i clearly saw the code, I knew what needed to be replaced, and when the mechanic gave me the same news I was overjoyed. Highly recommend the item and seller.

My wife's 2015 Jeep Cherokee Fuel cap light along with the check engine light so I took it to a local auto parts store and they sold me a $15.00 gas cap so rather than keep dealing with the parts store I purchased the KONNWEI KW310 OBD2 Scanner and found out I had a small fuel vapor leak. Bought the correct part which was a Fuel Vapor Leak Detection Pump and problem solved. No dough this tool saved me a bunch of money by not having to take it to a dealer.
